Hep A Update. Volleyball. Hugh Hefner

Have you been following the outbreak of Hep A that we have going on in San Diego? It’s really a culmination of so many factors put together. Police not enforcing items downtown and the homeless population growing to numbers that we haven’t seen before.

Above is Mark Larson discussing what’s happening and what needs to be addressed.

Another video I’m posting is a discussion of the facts and myths of Hep A. Since 2006 we’ve made the vaccination mandatory by law in California.

As we’re getting into Octoberfest season and large gatherings – I just wonder about the safety and people not spreading it. It seems the best advice is washing your hands before and after meals and making sure not to put your fingers in your mouth.

Moving onto Volleyball…

I went last evening to watch some volleyball. It’s tough to watch. I think it’ll be known as the season of what could have been. With two starters out due to grades – it sure makes the season difficult. What’s odd? Historically both the girls Cross Country and girls Volleyball have the highest cumulative GPA’s on campus. It was a joke while my son was running cross-country how many of the girls had higher than 4 GPA’s.

Makes me laugh – kinda. I mean you reach a point where all you can do is laugh.

Passing of Hugh Hefner

Yes – for you Hugh – Heaven might be a letdown.
