Windmills. Biden. Cubs

If you have a windmill anywhere near your house, congratulations, your house just went down 75 percent in value. And they say the noise causes cancer. You tell me that one, okay?

-Donald Trump

I’ve been watching some of our political scenes for a while, and yesterday it seemed particularly comical. The other day President Trump made his comment about windmills causing cancer and being a massive killer of birds. That didn’t seem to stop him though. He also doesn’t like windmills because they can be easily “blown up.” It took literally ten seconds of thought and the first thing that came to mind, “Anything can be blown up.” Nuclear power plans, oil refineries, coal mines, etc. We’re definitely at a weird time in the political discourse in this country. People need to think for themselves. Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, whatever it may be. You need to sit and listen and really ask yourself if what you’re hearing is true.

Ironically Trevor Noah had a good comedy bit about this.

Before I move on. Joe Biden announced that he’s going to try to be more considerate of other people’s spaces. When did we become so sensitive about so much? It’s a bit baffling to me.

Cubs. Cubs. Cubs.

The Cubs are not looking good. As soon as the bullpen takes over I just have a vibe that the game hangs in the balance. What’s the answer? Brandon Morrow who’s due to come back next month? I have no idea. I just know that right now they’re not looking good.

We’re going to win a couple games this year 18-1. We’re not going to be as good as we look on that night. Hopefully, we don’t play a game worse than we played the other night. But we’re going to play some stinkers. We’re not going to be as bad as we look on that night. It’s 162 games and things are going to happen.
