Oh Hey there Tuesday

“You know, I’m sort of honestly sick of coming back over to the European Tour and shooting 15 under par and finishing [T26], I don’t think the courses are set up hard enough. There’s no penalties for bad shots. It’s tough when you come back when it’s like that. I don’t feel like good golf is regarded as well as it could be. But I played well enough, 15 under for four days. But you know, we’ll have a few weeks off and get back at it.”

Rory made some news when he said the European Tour’s courses are setup too easy. That he’s tired of going over there and shooting -15 and finishing 30th. Well, he got some backup from Ernie Els who mentioned how much pushback one of his courses got when -6 won. Ernie Els’ course eased up and then -20 won. Why exactly doesn’t the European Tour want a tougher test of golf?

Theo Epstein (Cubs General Manager) took to the microphone for a Facebook Live and took questions for an hour and fifteen minutes. The big talk was ofcourse the parting of ways with Maddon. The gist of what Epstein was saying was that Maddon was the right guy for the team five years ago but not currently with the current attitude in the clubhouse. It was interesting to listen to Epstein talk about that he’s open to trading any player (even his superstar talent) as he only has club control of Baez and Bryant until 2021. Then – both of those players are going to test out their market values. My take: Cubs will probably hang onto one of those two and deal another one possibly as soon as this winter. Lots of talk as to whom is the frontrunner to be the new Cubs skipper.

Former Cub David Ross is a Press Frontrunner for the job shown on the right with Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam.

We’re getting closer and closer to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Swimming world is all-buzz about their youngest swimmer on Team USA – who broke Missy Franklin’s World Record in the backstroke. Regan Smith – just 17 years old. She hadn’t even committed to a college yet – boom – breaks a world record and the colleges come calling.

Regan Smith broke a World Swimming Record at 17. Broke Missy Franklin’s record who also set that record at 17.

Video below of her breaking the World previous record:

Oh, it didn’t take long for her to them commit to a college.

Justin Timberlake wanted people to caption this photo with the iconic Bill Murray from their golf tournament they played last weekend. I’m going with ‘So JT. This wine glass isn’t going to fill itself. Why am I still looking at you?’
